The Little Mairmaid 2 wasn't made by Walt Disney Animation Studios, but Disney Toon Studios, and it was a homevideo release, just like all the sequels made at the time (Aladdin 2 and 3, The Lion King 2 etc etc). Only Fantasia 2000, The Rescuers Down Under, Ralph Breaks The Internet and Frozen 2 are considered Disney Classics because made by the main studio.

Apparently, a new picture from UOAS just leaked, and I find it extremely unfair how sequel characters like Honeymaren and Ryder and Shanks from Ralph Breaks The Internet were included but, once again, Melody was left out.

Heck, even Hans was eventually included despite Disney itself repeatedly shitting on him.

Well, since I was barely interested in Wish in the first place, I think it’s safe to assume I’ll be sitting this one out 🫡

This is why I didn’t had any activity in tumblr yesturday.

I will explain what is for us carnival. Carnival, as you know, is a celebration that takes place in Latin America, but in our school is a totally different thing. When it is known that carnival is approaching the school prepares for this giant event. What it consists of is that the last three grades of the secondary school we say are 10th, 11th and 12th are the competitors. So what each course does is that it brings out a representative so that they compete to become a representative of the Student Council. For this already a month before is said who is the representative “queen” and the campaign manager, queen is the representative of the grade and the campaign leader is the one which organizes the whole event.

Then as we already have the boss and the queen we started to work because in carnival there is a giant presentation where 500 800 people come to see us. That presentation is called comparsas where carnival makes those grades choose a theme; It can be a movie, a television series, a book, etc. And based on that theme each group of the grades makes characters of that theme and these characters do a Remix and choreographies to present to the public. This year the 10th graders were “Tangled” we, 11th grade, did “Peter Pan” and the seniors made “Harry Potter”. Then with the theme already chosen a month before we started to make a set for this presentation, so we did Captain Hook’s ship, Peter Pan'a tree, Wendy’s room, Big Ben, trees, rocks for mairmaids, The tents of the Indians, etc. We send t-shirts with the theme that we chose and with the name of our queen with a phrase of the theme that we have chosen. Also for this we make a curtain that a giant cloth that is 10 × 10 and there is drawn and painted the subject then we drew, so we drew Peter Pan. Obviously our grade is divided into groups, one group makes the curtain and another group does the scenery but more You need a screenprint and that makes the course unite as a family.

When everything is finished because this takes 1 month, the scenery and the curtain, we make rehearsals for the show because it is made a story based on the theme; Then we made the story of Peter Pan where Wendy and her brothers go to Neverland with Peter where they meet the mairmaids The Lost Boys, Captain Hook and Tinker Bell. And as our queen is our representative she is the second star to the right where Neverland is. Besides that we do some things that are called “barras” that are like verses put in a rhythm to sing to the queen and to make rivalry with other grades. This takes two months maximum, if we put effort to the maximum it takes two months to prepare. Everything also depends on how the campaign manager is because if it is good the show will do good as it happened to us this year. And we do rehearsals because there are representatives of each group who are the main character. For example: I was actually Michael, Wendy’s little brother. Then they go on stage act and a character does his dance and so is the whole show. Then as we were Peter pan every group of our grade was Peter, it was Wendy, it was Michael, it was John, it was Captain Hook, it was Bell, the pirates, Nana, Tik Tok, mermaids and lost boys. The day of the show at the end of the story, the queen enters through a door and walks down some stairs with her knight and give another speech. This show is from 6-9pm.

For all this we organize everything, the school does nothing to help us, we do all the scenery, we design the t-shirt, we design our costumes, we design and make our curtain. So our phrase that we chose for our t-shirts is: All it takes is faith, trust and a bit of pixie-dust. What I’m talking about is done the third day of carnival because carnival is celebrated five days. Monday hangs the three curtains in a giant wall that is in the school, Tuesday are the barras with our queen and the other two grades to be against and there is an assembly where the candidates are presented with their knights and each one does a speech and answer questions about situations to improve the school, Wednesdays is the show and after the show there is party, Wednesday with hangover are the campaigns that are the games to get wet, to play, etc. Thursday is voted because in those three days each grade is winning votes of the minor gardes that are seventh, eighth and ninth grade. Then Thursday all the high school votes including the three grades that participate and at the end of Thursday by a megaphone is said who is the winner that same Thursday an after party is done, doesn’t matter if you won or not and on Friday again with hangover there is an assembly to crown The queen in representative of the council student and again party 😂.

It seems like it issilly but it’s just the opposite, it’s the most important thing that’s celebrated in school throughout the school year. My grade and I have worked hard for two months to get our Queen Abigail to win; Our show were the best, our campaigns were the best and I am proud to say that we have won this year even though we dis not won the previous one. And it was all thanks to our campaign manager because she made all this come true.

I am talking about this because it is a very important thing for me and my colleagues and I feel I should share this with you. Here I leave the video of my course reacting when they said that we win:
